"Small Space, Big Life"
New build. Postage stamp lot. Big entertaining ambitions. This North Dundas client didn’t let a tight footprint limit their vision - they just needed the right team to make every square foot count. V.I.L. designed a two-level backyard that packs in a full entertaining experience without sacrificing the green space the family still wanted. The result is a backyard that feels far bigger than it looks on paper.
Two Levels, Double the Fun
Rather than settling for a single flat patio, the design was built vertically - creating two distinct entertaining zones that give guests room to spread out and the space a sense of depth and dimension that a single-level yard simply can’t achieve.
Built to Last the Night
The centerpiece is a fully waterproofed deck finished in tongue and groove pine - warm, natural, and refined. A ceiling fan and recessed pot lights make it just as comfortable on a hot August afternoon as it is on a cool September evening. Beautiful railings complete the look and tie it all together.
Green Where It Counts
Maximizing function didn’t mean sacrificing softscape. Green space was preserved and woven into the overall design, giving the yard a balanced feel that keeps it from ever looking overdone. Lush, livable, and completely intentional.
